इस बड़ी सी दुनिया का एक छोटा सा हिस्सा नहीं अपनी छोटी सी दुनिया का एक बड़ा किरदार हूँ मैं कभी खुशी तो कभी ग़म की चाय में डूबता एक बिस्किट हूँ मैं कभी बारिश की आवाज़ हूँ तो कभी गर्मी की तेज़ धूप हूँ मैं जान किसी की तो किसी के लिए मैं अनजान हूँ ख़ुद से इश्क करती कभी तो कभी किसी के लिए मोमबत्ती की मिसाल हूँ इस भीड़ भरे संसार में एक नई पहचान की सड़क बनाती महान हूँ मैं गुलाब हूँ किसी के लिए तो किसी के लिए काँटों के समान हूँ पर खुद के लिए तो मैं अपनी ही शान हूँ ।                                                      ~Shreshta Sachdev  India
