Life was great when we met them at school,
they were my teachers, and all were beautiful.
We were like saplings, nourished by them,
they were our idols, and we were their gem.
Wish the days were back!
It’s not possible now, memories that have a clack.
I started my graduation from a happy place,
It’s like Rivandell, don’t need a preface.
There I met with four professors,
who endowed us with their love and humours.
Terms of linguistics became very mellow,
knowledge is weighty, and books are like pillows.
Then I met with six wise persons,
who are always ready with their avant-garde.
They are the maven in English, well admired.
Kindness defines them, they are always scintillate,
if we achieve something they always congratulate.
Love and peace, nectar-like, that are in this college,
guest professors are also there, creating a grillage.
Literary theories are immortal for all their students,
Structuralism is a butter bean with having incidents.
Last but not the least, how can I forget those?
who structured my spirit by an interpose.
They are my parents, immaculacy starts the day,
Wishing you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day.
