I Wish I Were Different

I wish I were different

Every day, I talk to myself
You can’t be clueless about yourself
You can’t talk to yourself
Can’t do it with others anyway
I wish I was smarter
Had more confidence
I wish I could say no to things
I wish I had made friends who asked me for things I can say NO to
I wish I were different
Less self-conscious
Stop complaining about who I am
I wish I were different

And be ok with what I am
