She

by Pallavi Javalekar.P.M

When she is born a glimpse of happiness is shared in her family. she is treated like a princess by her parents, she is taught from how to sít to how to cook. From being dependent to independent she grew up. Yes, she will cry over little things you know why? Because her parents never treated her like you.

She never saw a man with an evil heart, so she believed in everyone that gave a thorn in her life. She is assaulted by her neighbour, brother, driver, uncle, father-in-law, stranger, and father too. If she feels insecure in her own country, state, city, and her own house. Then why do you call India got independence.

Only five years of imprisonment, fine, or Life Long imprisonment is enough for a convict? does she gets justice?. I feel this punishment is not enough. Convicts are hanged in china. Egypt, Iran but not in India. we Indians say that we respect women but never do.

In 2019 32,559 women were assaulted,

Rajasthan has the highest number of cases followed by Uttar Pradesh. It’s not just a story of one woman. Stop updating your stories and using hashtags. Stop complaining about the system. Let’s change ourselves first automatically the system changes itself.

People also say that girls expose their body so the cases are increasing but it’s wrong it totally depends upon how you look and your mindset. Until and unless you change your mindset the cases never decrease. It starts with you. Respect everyone not just your mother and sister. We are in the country where we do sacrifices and Poojas to the goddess but women still feel insecure. Isn’t it an irony?
