I was once asked, for a price
of a golden grain of rice
by a man, whom I consider wise
That took me a long time to cognize.

My response might not have been wise.
On the value of a golden grain of rice
Reflecting on the thoughts that arise
I could, to some extent, realize.

The golden grain of rice
has the power to sustain lives
of creatures that are giants
to the ones invisible to our eyes.

To drive away hunger and lethargy
it has stored energy
helping all the being
function in synergy.

A single grain of rice
makes a great sacrifice
bringing to beings a paradise
to weigh its price is imprecise
