Life is a Journey

Life is a journey, exclusive, one-off, curious, constant,

To seek out with honest ardour to realise it’s intent.

With baggage light, and a mind full of questions,

Let the journey of life be of fruitful resurrection.

The four sturdy wheels are, positivity, confidence, tenacity and observance,

Life has enough spice to add to our mundane existence.

Each day be counted as a precious segment of time,

Let’s pin down each moment, to utilise for purpose prime.

Certain journeys may begin by surprise, gifting life with valuables,

Like meeting a new love or getting a job immutable.

At times, chance occurrences are better than a planned itinerary,

Putting us on a new path, leading to surprising salutary.

Some journeys undertaken, may yield Highs rapturous,

Others with a jolt may result in Lows calamitous.

High or Low, both are yardsticks of the cognitive constitution,

If we can scale the reversals with stoicism and circumspection.

Be it uphill, foggy, bumpy or cushy, clear or regular,

Each new turn unfolds sunshine of love, magic, and wonder.

Life is for living, living to the fullest,

I’ll live my life, chin up, with approach modest.

So far so good, because of the rare few individuals,

THANK YOU, for helping me without entitlement,

For understanding me without pretension,

For loving me without any pre-condition.
