In spite of many siblings, I was so lonely
All of them would dance and sing, I was so lonely
Even my teen years were bereft of love
All others had their flings but I was so lonely
There was whole sky to measure and
I had strong wings, still, I was so lonely
Life remained a wilted flower, for me
There was no spring, Oh ! I was so lonely
Why you came at the fag end of life
When I’ve lost all zing, and I am so lonely
