I started my trip early in the morning
to visit a tea garden in Assam.
I reached the banks of the river Brahmaputra
and entered the tea estate, where I saw ponds,
hospital, grazing lands, temples, and farmlands.
This tea garden had everything for the people
living there as their home.
I could see huge bungalows within the tea estate
and as I walked around, I saw the plantation
and factories.
I was greeted with miles of lush plantations
and saw where the brightly coloured tea was grown.
When I was walking through the tea bushes,
I could see the rays of sun.
I noticed a group of women dressed in saris
with baskets on their heads.
They looked happy and walked confidently
with a smile.
I was amazed to see how the workers were
plucking tea with bamboo baskets on their back.
Though the atmosphere was humid and hot,
yet I loved the sights of the tea garden.
I was happy to see the landscape, which was covered
with tea plantation and the worker was plucking
light green color leaves from the top of the plant.
The tall trees provided the shade to the tea plants and
the workers, who usually started their work early morning
in the sun, continued their work till sunset with meals
and tea break.
I was also enjoying the scenery of tea garden
while travelling from Guwahati to Dibrugarh.
