Poetry

Time

Time’s eternal, time’s immortal,

Hath weaved the ages of nature to learn;

Time’s alive, time’s a portal,

It crafts experience to teach and govern.

Time’s a joy, time’s a mirth,

It vanishes in a speck of eyne;

Time’s doom, times rebirth,

Tis’ framed-A divine design.

Time’s sorrow, time’s despair,

Making our hearts to sink and weep,

Time’s hope, time’s fair,

Changing the world by a leap.

Time’s bound, time’s a cage,

Limiting wishes to soar the Sky;

Time’s spirit, time’s a rage,

To claim the heavens fly.

Time’s heinous, time’s ignorant,

Forcing lives amid the dark;

Time’s admirable,  time’s reverent,

Singing beauty with the lark.
