The Silent Tears

The way you look at me

Is so enlightening!

My heart totters in joy.

Your sight makes me emerald,

Your admiration makes me Exuberant!!

Don’t you know my lord?!

Your presence makes me feel complete

Your ignorance makes me useless!

Your smile gives me relief,

Your gratification makes me

The happiest person on this land.

Your tranquil face makes my world pacified.

The mercy in your eyes brings

All the glitter to me.

But when you leave my hands,

When my offerings don’t sooth you,

Then my life loses all the proximity

And my worship becomes worthless!

Oh, my lord, show some pity!

My heart is shivering,

The inner conscience of mine is trembling

And my soul is screaming your name!!

Your incognizance has shattered me in pieces

And your intolerance has decolorized my world.

My eyes are dithering to see you.

My fingers are quivering to touch your feet.

Oh pitiful, oh compassionate

Won’t you wipe away my tears?

Don’t you recall the days

When you kept singing

And I kept listening

being mesmerized?!!

Don’t you remember the nights

You passed stringing and

unstringing your instrument

and I accompanied you?!!

You may have hypnotized the world

With your enthralling music

But don’t abandon that I consorted you!

You may have filled the whole canvas

Called earth with your auspicious colours

But don’t forget that I carried your palette!

My silent tears keep dropping

But your stony heart doesn’t melt.

Where is your composed look

Which filled my heart with respectful compassion?

Your one glace shook my whole body

and heart and your voice gave me

a peaceful entity.

That fascinating glance has disappeared

And that peaceful voice Doesn’t speak anymore!

The garden of colourful flowers

Has turned into a lifeless, listless desert!

Everything has changed but

My silent tears are still waiting

To wet your golden feet

And to accompany you!!
