I’ve been feeling down lately,

And being down bad,

Been feeling kinda lonely,

Singing woeful ballads.

I’ve been trying to move forward,

And move on for good,

But I just can’t seem to,

Even though I should.

I lay wondering at night,

Who you repeat my words to,

Wonder who is the person,

Who receives all the praise I give you.

All the love I confess,

All the admiration I feel,

Wonder to whom you say the things,

That I always say to you.

I’ve been feeling so small,

Feel like I’m no competition,

Feel like a buzzing bug,

Small, annoying and causing frustration.

But I’ll be gone,

And I’ll disappear,

I’ll walk the void, the dark plank of abyss,

And there shan’t be anything to fear.
