I have two creatures

In my heart

A Demon and an Angel

Both equally smart

Look after them both

But with a better sense

Feeding Demon a little less

The Angel with a difference

Thus keep the Demon weak,

Make Angel more strong

Don’t think that this strategy

Is anyway at all wrong

Hope Demons on my mind

By themselves would perish

My pampered, virtuous Angels

Would remain the ones I cherish
