खुशबू  भरी  हवाओं,  तितलियों  और चिड़ियों  के  साथ

बग़िया  में  फूलों का  खिलना  अच्छा  लगता  है

यूँ  तो  कितने  काम  हैं, फ़ुरसत  कहाँ  हमें  भी  मिलती  है

लेकिन  फिर  भी  तुम  से  मिलना  जुलना अच्छा  लगता  है

कभी  हया  से, कभी  अना  से  कुछ  भी  कहना  मुश्किल  है

मगर  जानेमन  तुमको   हरदम  सुनना  अच्छा  लगता  है

थी  हयात  ये  सोगवार,  कुछ   महवे  यास  भी  जानम

साथ   तुम्हारे  खुलकर  हँसना  कितना  अच्छा   लगता  है

कुछ  खट्टी  कुछ  मीठी  बातों  का  भी  मतलब  होता  है

कभी  मचलना, कभी   झगड़ना तुमसे अच्छा  लगता  है

पता  नहीं  तुम  इत्तेफ़ाक़  भी  रखते  हो  क्या  हमसे

पर  हमको  तो  तुम्हें  सताना  अच्छा  लगता  है

I like it

With the fragrant winds, butterflies and birds

I like the flowers blooming in the garden

Although there’s so much work not at all free time

But it’s a pleasure meeting you always so often

Difficult to speak out due to shyness and my ego

But listening to you always makes me a happy person

Life was somewhat cheerless, sad and morose

I love, with you heartily laughing with the gay abandon

Be it bitter, sour or sweet, everything has reason,

Teasing and fighting with you, my love, is so much fun

Mocking and troubling you puts me in gleeful heaven
