Reflection

I saw my face in the still lake

It was different from what I’d seen there last

I picked a glass – piece, with a crack in it

And I looked  at  the  vision  aghast

I ran home to my exotic mirror

To glance at a winsome reflection

But  to my horror, there was some error

The  image, with my face, had no connection

Heart  broken, then, I looked  into  your eyes

A pretty face looked back, at me, with surprise

That  saved  me  from near death, love

Power  of love  I have  come  to  realize
