Is it the first time? No
This is nothing new
Either it is killed in the womb
Or after it has seen the first streak of daylight
But
Yes, inside school premises is shocking
An innocent life cut off mercilessly
As if a wild animal has slit the throat of a captive
In its clutches
It is the concern of all parents
Are children no longer safe outside the home?
Hush!
They are neither safe inside their home
Evil intentions follow them everywhere
Sometimes parents themselves murder their offspring (s)
Over the slightest duels between them
Sometimes because of suspicion that it is an illicit child
Murder is murder whether committed by anyone
What was this child’s fault?
A happy seven year old studying in a
Well known ‘international’ school
Did no one hear the child’s agonizing shrieks?
Was / is everyone deaf in this school?
Did no one question the intruder?
Are schools no longer safe for our children?
Is it not a breach of trust?
What has happened to our social concerns?
Why is humanity dying a slow, painful, contagious death?
Maniacs are squandered everywhere
An innocent life is either exhumed by terrorists
Or
It is dying a premature death at the hands of lunatics.
As we claim to live in a progressive world
Of revolutionary developments
Somewhere we leave behind a hollow sensibility
Our conscience is dead
Our life is burrowed in material gains
We flock in mob activities
And put our Nation to shame
We destroy a budding life
And
Beat around a barren bush
Looking for a needle in the haystack
So many bends in the corner
Leading towards an empty trail
A ‘dying child’ dies for lack of medical aid
He is shunted from one hospital to another
And
In the process breathes his last
Who is to blame for this gross negligence?

A very astounding thing to have happened in an institution of learning. Are we trying to teach our children that murder, rape & other crimes are what is known as enlightenment of the mind. Today unfortunately our country is being put to shame by such heinous acts going on in the seat of education. It’s spreading like fire which needs to be extinguished before the entire country is devoured by it.
