A Better Life

My eyes are up at six thirty

But my mind – still unsure

Gazing at the to-do list

Sticking right next to my door

Getting off the bed took all strength of mine

What a waste of a pretty sunshine

Unveiling the dreams of the later night

An unknown notion struck in my mind

Wondering ’bout it again and

Again, I didn’t resist

A better life is surely the one

That never really exists

Cause if it would have been there

Then the majority wouldn’t be trapped in sorrow and despair

Cause if it would have been there

I would’ve definitely encountered it somewhere

But now pretty much clear it seems

A better life exists only in dreams…
