To Be Free!

The free flowing river wishes to meet the ocean…

Meandering across obstacles.

The chains are melting,
Hard cast iron though,
Mindless fetters giving up,
For freedom to take in,
Fate reigning low, desires beaming forth.

Torrential rain cracking the womb of clouds
To reach the dry soil,
No drooping flowers, but childlike plants
Trying to beat the drought, with reduced thirst.
Thunderstorm ahead casting confidence.

The commitments have broken,
No ties, no hard and fast rules,
No irrelevant disciplines, looking monstrous.
The wings have taken control,
The take-off is steady, the flight fighting crosswinds.

The free-flowing river wishes to meet the ocean…

Meandering across obstacles.
