Dusky Queen

They ask me to hibernate
make me feel like doormat
I’m entangled in norms
Undesired contentions would
never ever be stopped
Entitle me trite or antique
I love myself even more
Nobody has the right to humiliate
Contemporary rules teach to loathe
Do they even know; no they don’t
the intensity of damage
they did to a pure soul
Dusky skins have the same;
heart, brain and soul as other tones
so, stop passing lethal comments
Think of me beyond my skin hues
Have the courage to introduce me
As a lovely loveable  dusky queen
