Fruits and Flowers of Autumn

As I wandered in the mini garden

The green leaves, a breath of Autumn’s being Yellow, brown, and orange, and wine red Hues, many of which are names unknown.

Thy pleasant wind fainting my mind gentle

I step in thou state, in the silent morn Flowers and fruits hidden beneath leaves Or did leaves turn into flowers with fragrance torn.

Here I came to seek new joy

But O! Was it heaven in disguise!

For I stood amused and delighted.

And I who searched for peace in mine,

found in you Instead !
