Sparrow..

Every morning she came
Chirping jumping flitting
From window pane to
top tree branches sitting

Never ever was she late
Did her job meticulously
Be it collecting grains or
Feeding chicks  diligently

Sweet little scarlet bird
But sure was fussy one
Would not touch an ounce
Of what she wanted none

I rejoiced with her songs
coz she sang from her soul
Not to be bothered by anyone
Even when singing from hole

She was like a spiritual guide
Dancing  trying to reach the skies
But still, Blessed little tiny sparrow
Remaining glued to her given heights

Neither did she attempted
more than she could chew
Nor she cried for her rights
Happy she was with little dew
