Battered lives;

 Tears stream,
Fears unleash;

Hopes blur,
Souls stir;
How can wars be justified?

Families broken,
Words remain to be spoken;
How can wars be justified?

Sirens deafening,
Glass shattering;
How can wars be justified?

A belly full,
love abundant;
What else does one need for a happy life?
How can wars be justified?

Can power buy you
a moment of life?
If not! How can wars be justified?

The virus was unaware,
of the harm it unleased.
But humans are intelligent. Right?
