Steel Bird

Taxing through the smooth tarmarc

Spreading its glorious wings

Slowly ascends, the big steel bird

Up and up, it whistles and sing.

Proudly facing it’s nose up

Glaring at the golden sun

The mighty big steel bird

Aims to the skies from earth

The lovelorn clouds of the sky

Paves way for the bird to glide

Through its fluffy cottony whites,

Wishing it a happy flight.

Through the blue and white skyways

Lit by the bright Heavenly sunrays

The bird glides, tilts, and sways

Daunting, fearless, yet full of grace.

It flies around unknown shores and seas

Crossing many borders and boundaries

Flying over my little town

Shouting at me, making mighty sounds.
