Be My Poem

Far away from me

you lie

holding our memories

I miss the rhythms

the soft intake of air and letting go

polaroids blur

as tears gush out

songs hung in the air

vodka’s fill my nose

I quiver

memories waver

my hands search for you

ending in voidness

you are miles away

as flesh and bone

and I lie in the depths

in the pool of words

lusting poetry

I mound pleasure.
