The Spring’s Spectacle

The blissful blossoms on the earth‘s bosom,

Born to give off the fragrant love.

The beaming boughs dance to a melodic rhythm,

Turned on to light up the lovelorn grove.

Ivies of hopes climb the sky beyond reach,

Rejoicing the union of earth and sky.

Decked in silvery dews young roses teach –

Dazzling days bloom after dark nights lie.

The flowery paths with twined twigs above,

Make comely canopy of bride and groom.

The singing birds accompanying music mellow

Cheer up the heart in gloom and doom.

Every waft of breezy air echoes the notes

Of music long lost in lonely land.

Every hand of nursing nature dotes,

Suffering soul sank in sorrows thousand.

Springs of spring shines like a man in his prime,

Bathing in joy till the youth drains out.

Seedlings spring up that were slept sometime

On the bed of earth where dear dreams sprout.

The togetherness of the hearts long apart,

And the revival of the dead is a miracle.

The aching heart in the cocoon of calm and comfort,

Becomes a great wonder of the spring’s spectacle!!
