Peace, a priceless gem causing eternal grace

That everyone on the Earth yearns to embrace

Dreams of living in a peaceful place

Brings to heart a momentary solace

Although the Earth is dominated by a human race

All we can experience around is agony and disgrace

That brings to people, misery and unhappiness

Contrary to the harmony that each living being chase

When a pandemic strikes to the underprivileged or poor face

A human being is expected to help each other’s race

Beggars, low income and those working on daily wage

Without food, shelter and proper care dies in rage

I am born in a country ‘Bhutan’ by the god’s grace

Where the king personally walks from place to place

Conferring best care to his people in his godly face

For, the king has created Bhutan a heavenly place

Jobless and poor are given the daily wage

Old and sick and poor are being cared for ages

So long the compassionate leader we trace

Bhutan will remain for eternity in peace encased
