The journey of life is never ever smooth,
It’s going to have so many ups and downs,
Sometimes we get a garland of pretty flowers,
Sometimes we wear tiara of a thorny crown.
There are times when we soar high and fly,
Times – when we prefer to travel by a train,
At times we find it’s a happy ride,
At times we wobble and walk in severe pain
Passing through an unlit dark tunnel,
Trekking and stumbling in a dense forest,
Trudging across the arid, sandy land,
Or scaling rocky, high mountain crests,
Whatsoever be the means or the time,
We must always move on and on,
With a caravan or with friends and if
There’s no company, we then walk alone
We’ve to move with the flow of time,
For life’s a journey without rest,
Life is soul’s divine pilgrimage
In that supreme being’s quest
