“Vacuum” – The Emptiness

He asked me not to write to him,

And gave me some lame excuse

Oh ! Why suddenly a volte face,

For this, I really, had no clues

Later he stopped talking to me,

His eyes would not meet mine

He was suave and chivalrous

But this attitude I can’t define

I, still, love him intensely

There is anguish in my heart

How can love be so flighty

I’m hit by a poisoned dart

This loss of love resulted

In a gradual continuum

No pleasure left in my core

There is only a vacuum
