Delight

I built a beautiful tiny house

And an orchard with big trees

It isn’t a manicured garden

But it had everything to please

I would have my morning coffee

Outside, under  the  sun

Sometimes beneath a shady tree

By Jove ! it’s  so much fun

The  price of  real estate  soared,

Advice  came  from  a  close friend

To  take  advantage  of  market

And  sell off  my  excess  land

I  questioned why  should  I do so

She  said  to  live  in  luxury,

By  selling  the  garden  land

I  would  fill  up  my  treasury

I  told  her  for  me  luxury’s  trees

they  give  me  lung  space, right !

A  flight  of  fancy, a  green  dream

They  are  the  source  of  delight

Concrete  jungle  doesn’t  provide

The  joy  we  get  from  nature

Even  diamond, silver, gold, pearl,

No  scent, no  taste, no  rapture.

I  fly  very  high  in  the  sky

I  keep  my  feet   on  ground

As  long  as  I  am  with  nature

All  happiness  I’d  have  found
