Dear Reader,

  As we go into 2016, we would like to begin with a word of gratitude for your support. Since our inception in early 2014 we had the privilege of featuring lots of talented writers, poets, photographers and artists. Though our means and resources are modest to speak off, our contributors and content comes straight from the public. It’s their voices we hear and present to you.

 We face similar challenges as any other startup would face during its nascent years. Marketing, editing, writing and budgeting to name a few but with you by our side we have the motivation to go on despite all the obstacles. We firmly believe that Indian Periodical will stand among the leading names of media industry but instead of catering to elite few, this journal will count on and publish ordinary people like you. You are our newsmaker, journalist, writer and prime time. We take great pride in being a people’s journal. These baby steps might or might not become giant leaps, we cannot say but one thing that will not change is that any deserving artist will not be turned away from our doors, we will and always welcome everyone.

  We also would like to invite to not only opinion articles but also reporting pieces. If you see an issue or concern in your area or locality which could be anything like sanitation, corruption, security etc. please send us the story with necessary facts and pictures. We’d feature your compiled report and try to raise it with relevant authorities.

 Once again, thank you very much for supporting us through thick and thin and we pray that this New Year will bring you success, happiness and prosperity.
