The Charge

Yes  Me’lord

It’s  murder

Please  do  not  dismiss

My  plea,  without  hearing

Me  further

He  came  with

Intent  and  design

Made  me

Relent  and  resign

From  my  stiff  stand

And  listen  to  his  serenade

He  said  his  love

Was  far  above

The  mundane

He  promised  bliss,

Never the  pain

It  was  a lie,he could

Never  explain.

He  stole  my  heart

With  grace,

Then  did  a

Volte  face

And  vanished without

A   trace.

Do  you know My  Lord

When  did  I  laugh  last ?

Oh, it  was  way  back  past.

We  had  a  date

Deliriously  happy I  knew

Not  my  fate.

He  never  came

That  was  his  game.

Stabbed  me with

Unloving  glance,

Wounded  me  with

Fatal  silence

I  got  burnt  with

Hot  tears

Was  desolate with

Mortal  fears.

I  have  now

Virtually  died,

Yes  Me’lord

It’s  a  culpable

Homicide.
