आपसे घर नहीं,रिश्ता नहीं, जहान नहीं

एक चाहत के  सिवा कुछ भी नहीं माँगा था

दो घड़ी रोज़ ज़रा पास तो आकर बैठो, हमने

तो  इसके सिवा कुछ कुछ भी नहीं माँगा था

फिर यूँ  मुँह  फेर  जाने की ज़रूरत  क्या थी

हमने ख्वाबों के सिवा कुछ भी नहीं माँगा था

और  दुआओं  के  लिए हाथ उठा कर हमने

तेरी उल्फ़त  के  सिवा कुछ भी नहीं माँगा था

      Asked For Nothing

Neither home,nor relation,or a world anew

I wanted nothing but Love from you

Come for a while and sit with me

Asked for nothing but a little time

Then,where was the need to turn away & go

I’d only asked for a dream or so

I raised my hands in prayer just for one thing

Only your Love and besides that nothing
