वो बात जो न कभी थी न फिर कभी होगी

उसपे सब कुछ लुटा दिया ये क्या किया हमने

अश्कों से  इस  क़दर  नफरत  हैं  जिन्हे

उनका दामन भिगो दिया ,ये क्या किया  हमने

सिर्फ  पलभर  की  रौशनी  के  लिए

अपने घर को जला दिया ये क्या किया हमने

अपने   उजड़े   हुये   मकाँ   का   पता

 बिजलियों को बता दिया ये क्या किया हमने

I squandered away, everything on an issue

That was never there and never will be

He abhors crying, still, I soaked

His garb in my tears ,

Just for the sake of  momentary glow

I set my abode on fire ,
