Innocence

Came from a small town,

Submissive & naïve

With no idea of how to tread

And, how to thrive.

Got lost in the rush,

Trying to find my feet

Only by cunningness here

People got the best seat.

In changing & transformation,

Lost touch with my roots

Found myself busy in

Meaningless pursuits.

Tried a thousand things,

And told myself

It’s in the courage of being disliked

You can actually sound like yourself.

So, stop caring what will happen,

And what will  people say

Choose your dream, pay for them

And the rest will be okay.

Rush & drama will always be there,

Don’t let it distract you

Only by staying on your path

To yourself, you can be true.
