Windowlight gleaming bright
where’s my love…here tonight stayed awake till the dawn why not…she is gone who needs the shining moon all I have’s this little tune walking home the way I go saw an orange peel in the snow it reminded me of her warmth that used to keep me safe from harm windowlight to replace the loveliness of her face.

May I know why Orange Peel???? Well, I like your poem. Selection of words is appreciable.
Hello, Arvind. Thanks for your comment. To me, the orange peel represents all the warmth, sunniness, and sensuousness of love.
Hello Arvind,
Thanks for your comment. Sorry to respond so late–I just saw it today.
I did see a discarded orange peel in the snow, walking in New York. To me, the orange peel represents all warmth, sunniness, and sensuousness of love.
Best wishes,
David Francis
