It Wasn’t A Love…

In the mist of confusion, chiliad of feelings jumbled,Creating a perfect illusion,I drew myself to you.Beautifully crafted in my heart,Twirl to the rhythm of my love,Spilling the beads in the process,You drank my soul to the fullest.Slamming the episode of our insanity,Pulling myself more into me,I decided to set you free,For your memories tormented my heart. We knew there was never ‘US’,Claiming a weird bond of eternity,What we share is an obscure phantom,Amorphous and so distant. And in the desert of my mutilated soul,Your love was just a mirage for me,Clearing the lump in my throat,I kissed your temple with blissWith the farewell music so strong,Scattering the spell of departure,I vowed to detach you from me,For ‘It Wasn’t Love,’ and I wasn’t yours.
