Terror

A disgusted form of violence,

We are crawling through our veins.

What’s yours, it’s not mine.

What’s your dawn, it’s my sunshine.

It’s so tragic and suicidal,

We’re constantly calling upon our funeral.

It’s not worthy; we’ve gone beyond our dignity,

In the name of a cult, we’re killing our humanity.

Driven into the past, our future won’t last.

Creatures in the name of humans, utterly nothing but dusk.

Slaying courage, wrecking images,

It’s not us; it’s the face behind the mask.

Mankind has become a terror,

Children are killed, women are raped.

We are human, we can’t be violent,

Silently, we’re dwelling on the lives of some slaves.

Is this what we deserve?

Is this what we’ve prayed for?

Is this what we’ve searched for?

We can’t help ‘coz we’re a bunch of hypocrites.

Innocent souls are murdered down the road,

Novice minds are hammered down but can’t explode.

The war has begun for creating new dawn,

But we don’t know that our mercy is gone.

Shot in the head, you think we’re afraid.

Surrounded yourself with misdeed, cheered while we bleed.

If this is the belief, then why have we been born?

Our flesh is painted with a thorn.

Is this what we deserve?

Is this what we’ve prayed for?

Is this what we’ve searched for?

We can’t help ‘coz we’re a bunch of hypocrites.

This is not what we’ve hunted for, we won’t even fade.

The time has come to rage against this dread.

It’s our world, fight until it’s been heard,

We will win, our enemies will be ruined.
