Sorrows of the Homeless

Unable to read or write,

The world seems like a

canvas painted white.

Oh you people!

Listen to our plight,

consider our right.

For our homes we fight,

Hoping that someday,

we’ll shine through the light.

So what if our fate

 isn’t as good as yours!

Truly unforgettable are

your well-gifted scars.

A plea was made for hours,

From our Arcadia you were

offered the finest flowers.

Yet you chose to destroy

our mini world,

and all we could do

was to watch it getting hurled.

A place where people lived

with solicitude and amicability,

Now, was a skeleton of

grief-stricken calamity!
