I have a vision somehow
Those awful days will just flow
One needs to nurture
Be the best for the future
Had a journey a thousand miles,
Passed by many places with smiles,
Travelled far yet so near
My beloved country, Philippines so dear
Family just beside us,
May not forever be with us,
Act before it’s too late.
Or lament in a wake
Once a family, buried uphill,
Exerting effort to climb the trail,
Sweat and rapid heartbeat,
One day, I can give you the best treat.
Could find a place for you to lay,
I could sit beside and pray,
Now you three were there
A park glad to stare.
Never thought what you selected,
Will be really appreciated,
Becoming an Educator,
Is a real hard endeavor.
Each one of us has its own mission,
Though sometimes cannot be seen in vision,
At times reflection is the best part,
Have I done what’s right!
