Very soon on our way we will be, dear Heart
Leaving behind this wonderful place
A heaven on earth it is..
With its natural surroundings in the countryside
A blissful sublime world it is!
Nothing can be more captivating than this!
The rising sun bathes the earth
In its glorious orangish golden hue
Such exquisite beauty mesmerizes the beholder!
It’s a feast for the eyes to see & hear ..
Birds singing joyfully in varying cadence
Cheerfully hopping from branch to branch
Some sipping nectar from flowers
While some enjoying their perch
It’s amusing to watch them..
Playing catching, chasing each other
They look ever so fresh & cute!
The multihued butterflies merrily
Flit from flower to flower
Kissing & flying off
Their tender touch
Plants on them a kiss of life &..
The blushing blossoms tremble
Overjoyed by so loving a visitor!
On the slightest noise they scamper off with fright–
So stealthily you must observe
Kangaroos, Wallabies, Deer etc….
Frolicking with their prancing young ones
What a magnificent sight it is!
The mountains all dressed up in
Different shades of green, yellow, brown & even silver
The green turf..
Dotted with rainbow coloured flowers
The blue sky all perplexed wonders
Which dress it should adorn!
The one with white cottony balls
Strewn across the blue background
Or the one with grey geometrical fluffy design
Or just the plain dark coloured one
That has a thunderous reverberating call
With fiery streaks lighting up the sky?
The music of the heavy showers of rain
Pelting on the roof..
Send a thrill of joy & fear!
The accompanying strong winds..
Revel in their own melody joined by..
The chorus of the swaying branches &..
The soft rhythmical notes of the leaves
The birds & animals enjoying a day filled with singing & dancing..
Inspire humans to get out of their shell
And join in the merry making!
The Sun in the evening waves bye as..
Behind the mountains it sinks
Swathing the Earth in ruddiness
At dusk the trees seem to be on fire
An amazing sight it is with
Silhouette of trees lit up by the setting Sun
The western sky shrouded in a reddish shawl..
Soon gives way to the night Queen!
It enwraps the earth in a silvery soft sheet
In the darkness of the night
The shining silver ball proudly
Makes the surrounding more picturesque than ever!
In this divine haven
I basked for days & months together!
I may never again return to this
Heavenly paradise but
Will abide in it within my heart & soul undoubtedly!
A cosy home it has been with ..
Loving memorable fascinating moments of..
Beauty, warmth, love and care!

Such a beautiful and detailed description of everything !!! People usually don’t admire and appreciate nature enough, they just have a quick look and leave, I guess that’s why they say “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”… am sure this beautiful place as you described in your poem will miss it’s admirer !!

Thanks Mitu for your very encouraging comment.
the vivid description of God’s creations described so accurately fills the heart with gratefulness for the beautiful flora and fauna Man is surrounded with , however all that man does is destroy the natural gifts viciously instead of being thankful to God Almighty for blessing him with wondrous sights of nature in all its benevolence. thank you ms bannore for sharing this luxurious sight in poetic form.
Very true. We, human beings don’t value anything that we get as a gift no matter how valuable it may be not in terms of money but beauty. Nature is a very precious treasure bestowed to us by the Creator.
A very picturesque & vivid description of Nature coupled with the sorrow of the poet who has to leave the place , a TREASURE House of NATURAL BEAUTY touches the heart & makes you a sharer of the sorrow that the poet is experiencing at the parting. The poem is rich in word picture of Nature. Beautiful Poem Ms Banmore
