Star

In the midst of darkness,
I can still believe in the stars starkness,
though far and tiny,
they are still bright and shiny.

I find no reason for me to worry,
so long stars exist with the nights’ glory,
frequently flickering and twinkling,
without a night shrinking.

Thousands of stars exist,
yet, only a star in mind persists,
there is undying hope,
not to miss the star and cope.

With much love and faith,
I must stare at the star, and breathe,
that I shall be ever grateful,
for always being faithful.

I am hopeful that my star will glow,
together, every star shall bow,
let the light of positivity and optimism,
transcend through the prism of opportunism.
