I am a poet.

In words I rejoice gaiety.

With rhymes I speak sobriety.

Thoughts overflow like rivulet.

I am a poet.

With nature I found solace.

I create vivid imagery on space.

And bring out sheers of brilliance.

I am a poet.

My ink bleeds.

With humanity’s misdeeds.

In Beirut and elsewhere chaos, my heart wept.

I am a poet.

In silence I roar inside.

My loyal quill, let this voices be heard,

Let justice be served and equality reside.

I am a poet.

I express my deep thoughts.

On blank pages, I engrave enlightenment.

That in humanity, kindness is true discernment.

I am a poet.

I seek contemplation.

My words be an inspiration.

Poets advocate of arts, peace and aspiration.
