Caught amid disremembering at

the crack of dawn that promises

to give light to my mornings

now bring frightening darkness.

… the sunrise that painted

the skies with beautiful hues

has dimmed and made my day blue

…momentous nights that give life

to the listless moon and stars

now bring total eclipse to the heart.

…memories that give life

to the rivers of broken hearts and dreams

has left the soul broken.

still stuck

love still outweighs the

darkness…

blues…

eclipse of the heart….

broken soul…
