Happy Retired Life

I was a healthy and wise young man.

I always tried to be honest. I felt

dejected at times, yet I knew

I had the strength to overcome

   obstacles with courage.

I worked hard to overcome my fears.

I reflected on every failure and

learnt from it.

Experience is the real key of life.

I love my family. They are my

backbone and soul’s voice. They

protect me from wrongdoing.

Life has helped me evolve

through various stages

from childhood to youth.

Now I am old and retired.

I wear loose trousers as

I walk in the garden.

I sleep on time and wake up on time.

I love to visit temples every Sunday.

Travelling has enriched my experiences.

I go to the beach. I love the waves

from the ocean. I walk in the

garden every morning after sunrise.

I listen to the birds and their chirping.

I am spending my retired life happily.

The pain in my knee drags me down,

yet I am eager to enjoy my life thoroughly.
