The Sad Chapter

A river from the left,

A stream from the right,

In between is impossible,

For a house to stand.

A lion ready to pounce,

A leopard about to leap,

The buffalo falls,

His horns gone in waste.

Bullets in the air,

Bombs on the ground,

About our soldiers,

Tell me what stories I should write.

The price is double,

The quality is inferior,

A commodity just bought,,

Is ready to vanish.

An enemy in the front,

A fake friend behind,

In between, struggles a man,

Measuring trust and fear.

Screams at a distance,

Blood under their feet,

A spear in the hand,

This is a sad chapter.
