I love watching pigeons, as they
swoop down in flocks, to
enjoy the pleasure of food grains.
It’s a joy to see them flutter
with their coloured feathers
puffed out.
A few pigeons visit me daily,
and sit on the outer edge
of the balcony, waiting for
their treat.
I feed them every day
before I leave for work.
In joy or in sorrow, I have found
solace in watching these birds.
I have a habit of feeding black seeds
to birds and honey to ants.
I used to carry bread and seeds
for the birds every day.
