Go Away While You Can

Go away while you can,

Before it’s too late.

Or I will wrap you within my arms,

And make my chest feel

The warmth of your bosom,

Till the time, all my veins

Are charged up, and renewed

With the life force of immortality.

Go away while you can,

Before it’s too late.

I will feel like the God of Thunder,

Making a show,

In front of the the whole world

To prove how majestic He is.

But no, the bond holds me back

From diving deep into the misery

That I led myself to.

Go away while you can,

Before it’s too late.

When the night creeps in,

Even during those intimate moments;

Your hairs, eyes, lips, flash

Like a bolt in between…

Sometimes I am ashamed,

But sometimes I relish

The electricity that surges within me

And drains my emotions,

Out from my eyes.

Go away while you can,

Before it’s too late.

When alone in the shower,

My senses tell me of your presence.

The ebb and flow of water drops,

That runs through your motherly curves,

Touches my body and gently

Warms my heart to the core.

The warmth that I cannot bear anymore.

Go away while you can,

Before it’s too late.

I know that your eternal spirit,

 Will hover around me

Till the time I’m too old,

Too feeble and weak.

Will fail to respond to the warm grasp

Of love and immortality, that was

Once so young and vigorous, in me.

Go away while you can,

Before it’s too late.
