i will be

behind my extinction, i’m aware of that
you know a disaster when you see it

i’m worse than a super-volcano
i’m a giant meteor like the one mentioned in
a special edition of the journal nature
published tuesday which said
mammals, birds and amphibians are nothing
(and i mean nothing) when compared to me because
i overexploited all of my resources
i drained my oceans and inland waters
i contaminated my soil and polluted my air
i’m getting wiped out at a rate comparable
to the previous five mass extinctions

the earth might be saved
should strict conservation policies be enforced
