Once There Was a Village

to imagine there is a place still

with chat s* tied together in threads

from which villages are built

where children still run after

falling fruits and

setting summer suns

catching them in clear lakes

unafraid to jump

to swim

away from screens and air

of a city

that once was this place.

  1. A tragic part of Palayan(Migration),which speaks volumes and volumes of beautiful narrative of these mountains.
    Poet has brilliantly described those truthful tales which the coming generation will heard by a story teller in his voice
