Hells Of Our Own Making

By Mark Antony Rossi

We are in Hells of our own making. This does not absolve the oppressor in our midst. However; it explains that our choices bring harm to our lives. Therefore, part of our anger should be directed at the mirror. But instead we help the darkness by not taking responsibility for our actions. You cannot invite Evil to the dinner table and complain it poisoned you.

The Cycle of Sickness continues through your compliant hand. Each time you choose another abuser in your life. Each time you choose to become an abuser you feed the dark cosmic forces of human destruction. You cannot rid yourself of the enemy by running or becoming the enemy yourself. You have to defeat the enemy by breaking the cycle. This is the only method to achieve victory and redemption.

Too often our happiness is held hostage by convenient excuses. Have we not learned already that most conveniences carry the penalty of needless expense of blood and treasure. The easy way out is always a trap set by bad actors waiting to ambush undefended targets. Stop the fairytales and face facts. You don’t have big bones. You don’t have your drinking under control. Bad boys are symptoms of your self hatred. Bad girls are poor sketches of your self worth.

Human history is a six thousand year video of personal neglect and societal failure. It stems from lack of accountability. A friend remarked “aliens don’t want to make public contact for fear of being blamed for every human mistake since the beginning of recorded time.” Probably true.

If we could eliminate one trait from humanity it should be blaming others for our faults. If blame were gone overnight half the planet’s problems would disappear. Imagine that people solving problems together by admitting error and moving on to solution. It’s ironic that those who place their faith in artificial intelligence distrust humanity. Yet their blindness to these mechanical creatures will be their undoing. How can an imperfect creator create perfect creations?  We can’t. We won’t. We will learn to build a better world one step at a time or we will bayonet our collective future.

  1. Amen to this. It’s easier to admit mistakes than most people think and it takes weight off the shoulders and chest. Or we could just blame the robots in the future and keep the blinders. After all, they have cost so much already.

Well done as always, Mr. Rossi.

  2. Amen to this. It’s so much easier to admit errors than most people think and it takes tremendous weight off the shoulders and the chest. Glad you pointed out that unless we change ourselves, there will always be a new scapegoat, even if it’s made of metal.

Well done, as always, Mr. Rossi.
