One Sided Love

“We live in a world full of pain.

Where love is blind and words are left in vain.”

Waiting for you has been like waiting for rain in drought

Useless and disappointing, leaving me with tears that clot

Slowly the venom in my brain kills the flowers of my heart

My heart starts to melt and that’s the power of your thought!

Playing back a million memories, thinking about all we have been through

Trying to hide what I felt and hoped the silence would give you a clue

Tried hating you but the only thing I hated is how much I loved you

For me, you were The Book of life but for you, I was a chapter that never came true…

It’s so hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember

Holding hands and walking on the wet grass in the month of September

Now my heart hurts no more and the flame is just an ember

However the urge pulls me back in the good times spent in ’96 December…

The pain crawled to my heart growing like a vine

I gave you my all and you gave me your none but I am fine

Knowing that those hypnotic black eyes won’t be anymore looking into mine

That’s my one sided love, cheers to all good times!

These days, unrequited love attracts ‘reactive’ tendency on the part of the loser!
There’s total intolerance that even extends to violence resulting in physical torture to the person not reciprocating the love for any reason whatsoever!
True love knows not this barbaric nature, and in stead, drives the person who made the advancement to keep the ‘experience’ for ever, in tact, and cherish it as an adventure!
